We had barely had a look around in September before we headed to the autumn school in the countryside to Stará Živohošt' near the Slapy dam. It wasn't for swimming anymore, but we enjoyed outdoor games, a day trip and a rope park nearby. We had a great time again!
Every Friday we organise Montessori playrooms for parents and their children aged 1.5 to 3. Download the current selection of playrooms happening from January 2024.
At the beginning of May, we enjoyed a great performance of The Lion King, prepared by a 6th grade student as the scriptwriter, director and costume designer. Our mouths were wide open in amazement, it was so great! The children then performed the same show for their friends in preschool. We applaud!
A wonderful school in the countryside trip to the Bohemian Paradise. Nature, large playgrounds, good food, fire, games and fun, a day trip to the rock formations. Did we forget something? Never mind, it was great and we had a great time!
Thank you to the Roblín students who prepared a great children's day for us. Games, fun and very good food awaited us at their place. In the afternoon our parents picked us up and they could see everything for themselves and ask the students any questions. We are looking forward to the next event!
Finally, it's here! After intensively redesigning and improving our garden for the last two years, we were finally able to have an outdoor sleepover. We really enjoyed it, it was another great experience!
Where else to celebrate Earth Day than in our garden. The weather was good, many parents attended and everyone enjoyed the event. The upstairs and downstairs children and some parents prepared lots of fun games and workshops for the preschool. We all came together again and had a great time.
For the second time, our students went to the shores of the ocean in Portugal with the Erasmus+ programme. This time the theme of the project was permaculture. 20 days of adventure and new experiences. Lisbon, staying at a farm stay, the ocean. Enjoy!
A once impenetrable jungle has become a beautiful place for school gatherings. We are grateful for the enthusiastic work of our schoolchildren and for the parents who help with the construction of a garden shed from pallets and permaculture beds.
Our oldest students spent three amazing weeks in Portugal, where they collaborated with a school from Cascais on a water sustainability project. The project and further stays will continue in the coming years with the financial support from Erasmus+ programme.
Every year we clean garbage from the forest near our school. Two years ago we repaired the benches on its edge. This spring, however, all the backrests disappeared. Thanks to all the nice neighbors for helping, the kids are adding finishing touches and the benches will be ready again from September.
